Ecce Homo
- A chapter from Konrad Lorenz's book "On Aggression" about how human invention and responsibility developed hand in hand. - "Ecce Homo" comes from Pontius Pilate's statement at the judgement of the Christ, meaning "Behold the Man" - Konrad argues in this piece that rational responsibility is the means of preventing the misuse of the human faculty of invention. - Ecce Homo is commonly used as the title of many paintings. |
